You Know Your Child Is Capable.
So Why Is Reading Still So Hard?
- You've watched your child work hard. - You've practiced letter sounds. - You've read together. - You've encouraged them. Maybe you've even tried different strategies, hoping that something will finally make reading click.
But your child is still struggling.
And now you're worried that this isn't just about reading anymore.
You're worried about their confidence. Their school experience. Their willingness to try.
Most of all, you want answers.
Does This Sounds Like Your Child?
Guesses at words instead of sounding them out
Has difficulty blending sounds together
Becomes frustrated during reading
Avoids reading whenever possible
Reads very slowly or needs help with almost every word
Seems to be working hard but isn't making the progress you expected
Is beginning to say things like, “I'm not good at reading.”
That's where I can help. Through individualized, explicit reading instruction, I identify the foundational skills your child needs to strengthen and provide targeted practice to help them move forward.
Every child deserves the opportunity to confidently say: I can learn to read. I can figure this out. I am a reader.

As someone who spent nearly 30 years watching bright, capable children fall further behind in reading, not because they couldn’t learn, but because they were operating in a system where nobody had identified exactly which foundational skill they were missing.
I’m on a mission to make sure every struggling reader gets the targeted, individualized instruction they deserve before the gap becomes so wide the child starts to believe they’ll never catch up.
Most struggling readers aren’t behind because they aren’t trying. They’re behind because a specific foundational skill was never explicitly taught. And once we find it, everything changes. Through my R.E.A.D. Method, I assess exactly where your child is, identify the specific gap that’s holding them back, and build a targeted instructional plan that creates real, measurable progress. The goal isn’t just better reading. It’s a child who believes in themselves.
